High quality, functional sports movements are undoubtedly the best way to reach your ceiling when training for any sport. However, raw speed power training is how we elevate that ceiling. We can get higher tissue loads and neural stimulation in that raw speed environment.

Today is a an even bigger day than I thought it would be. 31 years ago today I set my first 100 meter WR on Randall’s Island NYC. Little did I know that I would trade it with my friend and training partner @Carl_Lewis later that summer and win it back in 1996. Great memories!
