Am I the only reporter in DC who doesn’t have Trump’s # ?

My NRC colleagues in Lebanon are witnessing horrific scenes of destruction and death in civilian areas. Bombardment of civilian areas is a grave violation of humanitarian law. There must be an immediate ceasefire, Israel and Hezbollah must stop their attacks, and Israel must withdraw from the Lebanese territory it currently occupies.

Is anyone talking about the MATERNITY HOSPITAL Israel hit in Lebanon with over 300 casualties? Or are we all just immune to it yet?

I understand it can be hard for readers halfway around the world to absorb headlines like this over & over. Fatigue for stories of faraway grief is natural. But every one of these families is shattered, possibly beyond repair. Please do read what my colleagues are documenting.

The Pentagon said Iran was responsible. But new evidence further shows U.S. PrSM missiles — which blast thousands of tungsten pellets outward — killed 21 civilians in Lamerd, Iran, including a toddler and several children.

I went to school with this person. He lost his parents in the massive wave of Israeli strikes on #Lebanon yesterday. They are not Hezbollah, nor are they fans. They are civilians. A sample of many suffering the horror of a war they never wanted. RIP ❤️‍🩹

The @IDF response to my question about the attack on the Pasteur Institute: "The IDF struck a military headquarters of the Iranian terror regime in Tehran, which the regime deliberately constructed near the Pasteur Institute." My follow up: From the videos and images available, we can see that the Institute was destroyed, but not any of the surrounding buildings. Did the IDF miss or mistake its intended target? Also, there are no publicly visible military headquarters near the Institute as far as I can tell. If anyone knows of it, please share.🙏 Their response to my follow up: "We have no further comment."

Have either the IDF or CENTCOM claimed the strike on the Pasteur Institute today in Tehran or are they still trying to come up with a way to say it was an "IRGC production facility"?
