BioXP System Enhancement 🔮 The BioXP rewards system is evolving. Based on community feedback and data analysis, key improvements are being implemented to create a more sustainable and transparent rewards ecosystem. What's Changing: 1️⃣ Yapping XP Pause Yapping XP rewards will be paused after the next distribution this week. The current system faces challenges from bots, farmers and spam while needing broader refinement to better capture genuine participation. This temporary pause provides time to design more sophisticated mechanisms that align with the community's evolving needs. Community engagement rewards will return in an improved form. 2️⃣ 14-Day XP Expiry Activation As originally designed, BioXP will expire after 14 days. This prevents indefinite point accumulation and concentration, and encourages active, ongoing participation in the Bio ecosystem. All existing and future points will be subject to this expiry. Users will be able to see expiring points in their XP history. 3️⃣ Transparent Staking Formulas with Higher Multipliers for BIO stakers Compared to yappers and ecosystem asset stakers, BIO stakers have the most skin in the game and should therefore earn the highest XP. Ecosystem assets can always be unstaked after just two weeks (in which timeframe they are not earning BioXP), whereas locked BIO cannot be withdrawn until the lock period ends. We’ll soon update how BioXP from staking is calculated and share the details openly. The new BIO staking multipliers will be higher than those for ecosystem staking to reflect the stronger commitment of BIO stakers (veBIO holders): For Ecosystem Assets (IPTs, DAOs): BioXP per day = Multiplier A × USD Value Staked Assets For veBIO Holders: BioXP per day = veBIO Amount × Multiplier B × BIO Price (USD) Note: veBIO = BIO × (weeks locked / 104), meaning longer locks naturally earn more XP through higher veBIO amounts. Impact 💭 System Evolution: Pausing and revamping reward mechanisms ensure systems that reward real contributors while filtering out noise. ⏰ Dynamic Ecosystem: The 14-day expiry maintains ecosystem activity and rewards consistent engagement. 🔍 Full Transparency: Clear formulas provide exact calculation methods for BioXP earned from staking. Next Steps These changes will roll out progressively over the coming weeks. After the yapping distribution this week, we are planning to bring more Ignition Sales to the protocol in the next week! Most of these are newly created accounts with no followers, constantly reposting my content in an unusual way. This makes me quite worried. I understand that in any competition, there will be rivals. But using such unfair tactics really frustrates me.
