I feel like people will find a way to make this seem like I don't care about the devs. I spoke about each issue equally and about how awful each one is. This is me merely posting an observation I had about blatant ignorance and enabling homophobia in the comm.

And, I'm just realizing a lot of leakers haven't spoken about the TBP/homophobic reactions in the comm. A lot of people are blaming the LGBTQ comm for the dev situation, when that was only a small number of bad actors. Idk. Same situation as devs--the WRONG people being blamed.

Almost all of the big leakers in the FN space didn't even mention the negatives of TheBurntPeanut in Fortnite and how he's a homophobe/racist... Yes, the dev harassment is a SERIOUS issue. But that doesn't diminish the other issue either. Both can be prevalent.

@Paradigm_SVN fitzy is awesome. i dont like to assume, but i dont think ive seen many leakers openly support pride month and instead play into the whole "LGBTQ comm were the ones who led Chris to leave twitter" angle in order to defend their homophobia 😭 this is really common

And motherfuckers like Scyan are losing the plot of this entire situation. Making it sound like TBP is 'just a cosmetic.' As if everyone who detested it is on the binary side of harassing the devs. It ISN'T binary. You can hate TBP while being respectful to the devs.

something ive noticed is a pattern is if minorities are upset about something and there are a few bad faith actors, its used to attack the minority as a whole, yet if its a right wing group with a few (especially) bad faith actors its completely brushed aside

I have seen all these openly-racist/transphobic people feel more open to running their mouths. It's EERILY similar to when Trump became president, expressed openly racist and transphobic ideologies, and now all the racists/transphobes think it's okay.
