Journal II
I present to you my new eight piece collection, from the three months I spent in Australia earlier this year.
Returning to the place where it all began for me as a photographer, back in 2019. This work, shot solely on 35mm film, takes you into my intimate world. One that is filled with the melancholy joy of solitary freedom.
I hope this collection connects with many of you! A big thank you for all of your support so far in my artistic journey, this adventure would not have been possible without it.
My dms are open for any questions about the collection or to see the pieces in full size. I will be minting them very soon.
Each piece will come with a signed fine art print upon purchase.
Coming to @exchgART Wednesday
I don’t think creators, especially young creators give themselves enough credit.
Your early 20s are the toughest times for so many reasons. Figuring out what you want in life, how you can fund that (big one, financial anxiety is the most consuming) where you want to live, making friends, family dramas / lack of understanding and support.
Probably many more.
Dealing with these challenges makes being creative and having the mental capacity to be creative way more challenging. For me anyway. It takes away the ability to focus and process thoughts / emotions
Does it get any easier?
I think what I’ve found between the years of 23-24 (im 24 now) the ability to ‘deal with it’ gets stronger, but I’m curious about what others think?
