@UK_Daniel_Card Yeah, I remwmber that I made a few FreeSCO routers with modems that would autoconnect when required. Which was just a few times a day...

you might think i'm joking but this is really how it was before. was it more secure? who knows i can't go back in time... i can tell you that NAT'd everything and access everything was not the norm.. there wasn't the bandwidth in most orgs for that anyway :P

who is old enuff to remember when we didn't give everyone in the biz internet or email access and where the proxy was allow list by default? #Infosec
