This cracks me up because JOM was an amazing actor, Joe West was a shit character and you’ll would actually know this if you paid attention to what he did to Iris and Barry.

Exactly! The fact that we saw the different levels of how Barry reacted to Joe as a child will always be mind boggling to me because even as an adult he didn’t know how to define Joe because different situations determined his relationship to Joe.

And he was only able to view it that way after joe said he would get his father out of prison . He wasn’t just thinking dad the whole time and that’s the reason he call him joe for the whole series . If he truly felt comfortable saying dad then it would just naturally be used .

I will never understand how we have had to watch time & time again Iris get dogged for moments taken out of context yet when it comes to Barry’s relationship to Joe she’s disregarded & lumped into how Barry saw him. Yet Barry since Arrow & even in the pilot told us differently.

Let’s keep changing the goal post. You’ll don’t know how adoption works much less the difference between adoption and being someone’s guardian. Henry never gave up his rights to Barry so he couldn’t be adopted. Because legally Henry still has rights to his son. 😒🤦🏽♀️
