I totally agree. India has such a beautiful atmosphere, with clean skies, clean rivers like the Ganga Yamuna, lush greenery, and no pollution in the air. They could have easily shot this scene from #Ramayana on a real location.

I don’t see why CGI was needed for these scenes when they could’ve been shot beautifully in natural locations in the country itself. SS Rajamouli is going all the way to Antarctica to film some parts to make it look realistic..... and you couldn’t even shoot the vanvas portions in real jungle when the country has plenty of such suitable locations. And the music by Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman feels mid, very typical Zimmer-style hybrid orchestral scoring, and nothing particularly breathtaking. Indian composers like Shankar Mahadevan, M. Keeravani, Amit Trivedi, or even AR Rahman solo might’ve delivered a more beautiful and culturally textured score for an epic like Ramayana
