Thank you to all of the students, parents, grandparents and community members who came to school last week to read to students during Read Across America week! 🇺🇸 We loved listening to a multitude of stories and sharing a love of reading.

The other half of kindergarten had perfect weather for their field trip to Wikiup today. Hands on learning is the best!

Today we read with our buddy classrooms and had a few visitors from the Johnson County Sheriffs Department read to our preschool classrooms. We've loved America Reads Week.

We have another member in the Birthday Book Club! This kiddo celebrated his birthday by donating a book to the Lakeview Library. Check out our March newsletter to learn how your child can celebrate in this way too!

Yesterday half of our kindergarteners went to Wikiup Nature Center to enhance their science unit on animals and trees. We also had fun reading with flashlights in the building! Another great day of learning at Lakeview!

The Solon Community School District is aware that there were several failed notifications related to this morning's weather notice. The District is investigating this issue with our notification provider to resolve any future issues.

The Solon Community School District is on a 2 Hour Delay for Friday, February 20, 2026. No morning activities. Before and After School Program is also on a 2 Hour Delay.
