i truly hope valko is just postponed instead of being removed from the game entirely.
from a profit perspective, infold must be panicking. they're bleeding players, first because they completely broke our trust, and second because of valko's removal and the uncertainty of future content.
i don't think a greedy corporation like infold would throw him out permanently when he cost so much time, effort, and money to create. we're seeing whalers leave the game because of this, and infold desperately needs them back. but we also have to realize they have the ccp tailing them now.
every social media announcement they made just dug the hole deeper, so they chose absolute radio silence, which only fueled more miscommunication.
since valko's "staying in for the night" scene was caught in the government crossfire, they likely have to heavily revise it before it can ever see the light of day. i'm holding onto hope that this is what's happening behind the scenes, especially since the 6.0 updates right now, with the incomplete secret times and affinity updates, just scream that they weren't ready for any of this (which is again, totally their fault).
honestly, they should've just delayed 6.0 altogether. they should have laid low, and put out a transparent announcement stating they are actively working to resolve everything with both the regulators and the player base in mind.
just a bunch of my thoughts on this mess.
