@elMunir5 Given that I had done the PhD in 3 years flat while working full time, it took blood, sweat and tears. I resolved to demand to be called ‘Doctor’ for the first 10 years, then drop it. Gradually, some respectful folks started dropping “Uncle Joe” for “Dr Joe” and it just stuck.😀
