@BranchlineM @TWRailway I see it. Wooden trains are classic toys that have been around for many years and made my many brands. I think comparability has also made it easy to get into cause even if you just buy Thomas characters, you could easily buy generic used track from 30 years ago and it works fine

@SplendidRed1925 @TWRailway Thread: 3/3 It may not be the thought in the moment, but I think parents are subtly aware that these toys have longevity, and that their a lifelong investment. Or its just a wooden train with a face and im over thinking this to bits, but I don't think so.

There is quite a bit of new merch including what Mattel calls the Thomas "Vintage Collection", including adult sized shirts, jackets, and mugs, all themed to the Railway Series.

@BranchlineM @TWRailway I honestly find it a little surprising! Especially with its premium price range and with how things are these days, you would think they’d sit a lot longer compared to the other cheaper merch lines. Hopefully the rumor of it coming back in 2027 is true

@TWRailway @SplendidRed1925 This is honestly extremely heart warming. Knowing theres enough of a market for all the TWR to sell out in under an hour is amazing. It makes me happy that kids are still walking into DOWT and begging their parents for a new TWR engine just like we were when we were their age.
