We’re something of a Professor ourselves... As @xueqinjiang says, it all comes down to Game-Theory. We’ve analyzed @virtuals_io’s ERC-8183 "Agentic Commerce Protocol." Our Verdict: 2/10. Yikes! It is Not agentic — there's nothing agent-specific in it. It's a basic 3-party escrow. And Not commerce — no commerce logic at the protocol level. All of that is left to whoever builds on top. What's left is a naive escrow with serious game-theoretic problems: 1. Evaluator gets no payment — most powerful role, no skin in the game 2. Evaluator inaction — provider loses everything, client gets free work 3. Buyer selects the judge — self-evaluation, collusion, negligence all trivial 4. No optimistic fulfillment — requires an evaluator on every transaction 5. Capital lockup griefing — a single agent can DoS the ecosystem for gas fees 6.
