@SpookTooSoon Betty that was it. I had a 'b' in my head floating about. My brain comes up with one letter sometimes lol. Well that's a plan then. She'll still shout though won't she.
@SpookTooSoon I know little Barney Rubble bless him. I forgot his wife's name. In a barrel now that's even better. She's got a hole to breathe through so that's ok
@SpookTooSoon Oh of course the Flinstones! Yes I watched that. Oh yes I need some mind bleach lol. Thank goodness EDHQ isn't on weekends. The train robbers could've used her to do their robbing!
@BibblyBobbly58 Loved Dangermouse!
Yes, they were quite a class of their own back then - well turned out - apart from Columbo of course!
Starsky and Hutch, Kojak, Top Cat lol...
No, do not go there thinking of a multi-headed hydra type Chas. One is more than enough!
@SpookTooSoon Dangermouse lol. Actors and actresses always looked so smart too didn't they,except for Colombo bless him. Imagine if all those snakes if they looked liked Chas. Maybe not though lol
@SpookTooSoon Be seeing you too! I love that undertaker episode. Wasn't he just great! In one of your piccies Chazilla should have wings I reckon. Omg Medusa,imagine all those Chaz heads 😳
@BibblyBobbly58 "Be seeing you"
Oh yes. He appeared in a few Columbos. As a CIA spook and as that murderous undertaker!
Yes, when I see Chaz I see them Harpies!
Or Medusa!
@SpookTooSoon I always watch Patrick McGoohan in Columbo too. Oh yes I can see Chas as a Harpie. I remember that scene. I've never heard a screech like it and a fitting comparison to her.
@BibblyBobbly58 Yes, we were sad when The Prisoner finished. We really enjoyed it didn't we?
Chas? Jason and the Argonauts? More like one them Harpies that swoop down and steal the blind man's food lol! Same screech!
@SpookTooSoon I know,it's a stunning place. I've always wanted to go there. I never wanted the Prisoner to end. Don't think I've ever felt that way about a TV series since. That scene with Chasgob and Charity...Well I felt quite unwell. She reminds of one of the witches in Jason &the Argonauts
@BibblyBobbly58 The Prisoner was beautiful and indeed well made. Port Merrion - what a venue! Never seen anywhere like that.
No you are ok wanting him not to escape - me and Mum were same lol! (Yes, parrot has landed now lol)
I was just thinking how ugly Chazilla was on Thurs. The voice? Arrgh!
@SpookTooSoon I never understood the Prisoner but it was so well made wasn't it. I did want him to escape but part of me didn't,does that make me a bad person lol. Phew! I'm so happy for the parrot! Have to address the Gobstick Chas appearance Thurs. Had to turn the sound down! 😵💫that voice!
@BibblyBobbly58@paul1964Jam Yes, we didn't mind if we never understood The Prisoner we just wanted him to escape !
["We want information!"
"You won't get it!"]
Oslo say he is just coming in to land lol!
["I am not a number. I am a free man!"]
@SpookTooSoon@paul1964Jam I, like you,remain confused lol but couldn't get enough of The Prisoner
and I've got the boxset. They certainly are Z listers you're not wrong there. Let's hope he's living a happy life in Oslo lol or still just sleeping.
@BibblyBobbly58@paul1964Jam Oh my word it would be me and me Mam who'd watch every episode of The Prisoner remaining as confused as ever, but it was so unique.
Yes, like with "I'm a Celeb..." all Z-listers! I don't know any of 'em (ok, maybe 1 or 2)
Well parrots live for ages so I think he made it to Oslo!
@SpookTooSoon@paul1964Jam It certainly was. I loved both those programmes and as we know,The Prisoner too. Celebs aren't even celebs imo and I don't watch any Saturday TV anymore. I hope that parott made it to the fjords lol
@BibblyBobbly58@paul1964Jam Back then the quality of stuff that made it to telly was a lot higher than it is now. When you think of The Avengers or The Saint.
Yes, anything with 'celebs' is cringeworthy and crap. Ugh!
"Nah, not dead - just pining for the fjords!"
@SpookTooSoon@paul1964Jam You're so right Ray. I loved it. Lol a parrot with Deceased at the end,bit of Python in there too . You know what I can't stand these days, celebrity programmes. They are so cringe I cannot stand it.
@BibblyBobbly58@paul1964Jam Likewise. We were so into it - be around 1973 and it was a 'must watch'. My mate was so into it he even named one of his two parrots with the suffix 'Deceased' lmao
