I paid for Super Grok, was pushed to pay another $30 for Imagine video, and still couldn’t finish a simple job: overhead CCTV crosswalk, one woman in a crowd, exact two lines of dialogue, no sci‑fi face boxes. What I got instead: • Extra limbs / bad anatomy • Gibberish or wrong speech (e.g. “met” not “meet”) • Backwards motion — people, cars, even a plane • Face/identity drift when it re-generated instead of using my photo • Generation limit hit mid-project — after many broken attempts The worst part: failed / unusable renders still count against your video quota. You’re paying to fix Grok Imagine’s errors, not your prompts. This isn’t “user error.” Grok Imagine should be BETA only until outputs are reliable and bad gens don’t burn paid credits. I’m done paying twice for junk. Sharing so others know before they subscribe. 1/ Paid Super Heavy Grok + another $30 for video. Goal: realistic CCTV, woman blends in crowd, says exactly: “The targets ready.” / “I’ll meet you at the jet.” No music. Used my original photo. 2/ Results: multiple arms/legs, wrong words, backwards pedestrians/vehicles/planes, random HUD & face-inset swaps, identity changes. Constant re-rolls — each one eats quota. 3/ Hit “video generation limit.” Couldn’t animate the clean frame. Ended with workarounds (static CCTV + old audio) — not what was advertised (lip sync, motion, finish the clip). 4/ Policy ask: Don’t charge production users for defective outputs. Label Imagine BETA. Refund/credit disputes are between you and xAI/billing — I’m posting so paying creators know what they’re buying. #Grok #GrokImagine #AIvideo Paid Super Grok + $30 more. Video pros: save your money until this is fixed. This is wrong. 🤓🤨🫵🏼
