From learning how a hive works to spotting signs that the bees were getting close to swarming, it was un-bee-lievable. And the best part… WE FOUND THE QUEEN!! 👑🐝

Last Thursday, on our final evening in Tennessee, we suited up & jumped into full-on bee mode!! 🐝 Thanks to my mom, we got an AMAZING crash course all about honey bees — and WOW… what an experience!! 🤩🐝

We stomped into Nashville today!! Unfortunately, no dinosaurs were spotted… but don’t worry — I still made sure Music City saw some CLAWS!! We had a blast on the Grand Ole Opry backstage tour & on Broadway Street!! 🪕🦖

Everyone meet my newest dinosaur… ARTY!! My sister crocheted him completely by hand… which is how he got his arthritis-like name. He’s BIG & even poseable, which makes him perfect for riding around in my Jeep. Huge thank you to my sister Jacklyn for bringing Arty to life!! 🧶🦖

Now everything I book for the next 9 months is just icing on the cake — and that is the BEST feeling ever!! 🍰🦕 Here’s to 2026!! It’s time to celebrate another year of growth… in March!! 🎉

This doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of the hard work, outreach, and behind-the-scenes effort during the slower winter months. If I didn’t put in the time when things were quiet, my summer wouldn’t be able to thrive the way it does… especially this year!! ☀️

Blood, Sweat, & ROARS!! Today I beat last year’s sales!! Yep, you read that right. How amazing is that?! 🔥🦖 Last year, it came down to the wire to top 2024. This year, I hit that goal before the end of March. I’m honestly in awe!! 😊

I try to give back once each quarter of the year, and this was such a fun way to do so. The 3rd grade students put on a great dinosaur-themed program filled with so many amazing songs!! 🎤🦕

Back in January, I had the chance to volunteer my time (and a few of my inflatable dinosaurs) for a music program at Cottonwood Elementary!! Recently, I received something very special… a T.rex-sized thank you letter from the students and Mrs. Marble. It was incredible!! 😊🎶🦖

I’m officially up to 139 events for this summer… smashing my 2024 record of 122!! 🤯🦕 Thank you all for allowing me to live this amazing prehistoric dream!! 😊💚

I can’t believe how much this year’s bookings have increased. I owe a huge thank you to so many Nebraska libraries for being an incredible part of this year. I can’t wait to ‘Unearth a Story’ with all their summer readers!! 🙌📚
