I just got off the phone with someone who works in defense policy in Washington. What they told me should end every "Trump is reckless" argument permanently. "Every single president since Clinton received the same intelligence briefing on Iran's nuclear timeline. Every single one was told the window was closing. Every single one chose to kick it down the road because the political cost of acting was higher than the political cost of waiting." Trump got the same briefing. 60kg of 90% enriched uranium. 4 weeks to breakout. Material for 2 bombs. He chose to act knowing it would tank his approval to 35%. He chose to act knowing his own base would split. He chose to act knowing NATO allies would refuse to help. He chose to act knowing gas prices would spike. A senior analyst I know at a major think tank put it this way: "The difference between Trump and every president before him isn't intelligence. They all had the same data. The difference is courage." Read that again. Every president had the same file on their desk. Only one opened it and did something. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

US intelligence said in the last wk that Iran still has about half of their drones/missiles. They’ll simply wait Trump out as the midterms get closer and closer

Let's say Trump takes over the strait which in my honest opinion I think he did already, two things can happen where America can get paid off of the strait. 1. He can close it completely and make the European nations, Japan, etc buy American, which he's already stated this in a post. 2. He can charge a toll or tax and make the European nations, and everyone else pay a tax/tariff to use the striat lol. If I'm correct Trump has once again shown how 5D chess works you don't have to like him but damn the guy is a strategist.

@rphfrank @sayitnspinit I’m not either. But if you listen to the military strategists they’ve consistently said the US has no strategy. Trump is trying to bully Iranian leaders into a 1sided deal as if he’s selling a piece of NY real estate. It won’t work. Iranian leaders are defending their homeland.

I’m not a military strategist obviously. Are you? But I support them doing what they have to in order to get rid of the radical regime that wants to get a nuclear weapon and isn’t afraid to use it casually. If we have to destroy infrastructure to achieve that goal then we could help rebuild after the radicals are gone.

Which is more effective: 1. Open the strait and we will send you a pallet of cash - 2. Don't 3. You have till tomorrow to open the fucking strait or I will oblitarate your country and take all your oil.

@judytgolf There was a Nuclear weapons agreement in place under Obama that allowed neutral inspectors to go in and make sure uranium was not being enriched. Trump tore that up and allowed them to start enriching uranium again. And here we are

President Trump is trying to free the people of Iran after 47 years and stop them having nuclear weapons, nobody else has. All it is negative response's from allies and propaganda news media.
