The Harvest Festival featured in "The Little Witch and the Lost Memories" is inspired by Halloween and its origins in the ancient Samhain festival 🌙 Originally, turnip lanterns were used during Samhain, but as the tradition mingled with other cultures and regions abundant with pumpkins, pumpkin lanterns became more common. Today, pumpkin lanterns are the norm 🎃 In the story, the Harvest Festival marks the end of one year and the beginning of the next, and the protagonist Laoise, born at midnight, celebrates her birthday on November 1st—the day after Halloween!! 🎂 #LaoiseKawaii #IndieGame

#HappyHalloween !!!! 『ちいさな魔女と失くした記憶』に登場する収穫祭は、ハロウィンとその起源とされる祭事「サウィン」をモチーフにしています🌙 もともとサウィンではカブのランタンが使われていましたが、他の文化と交わる中でカボチャの収穫が盛んな地域ではカボチャのランタンが飾られるようになり、現在ではカボチャのランタンが主流になったそうです🎃 物語の中での収穫祭は1年の終わりと新しい1年の始まりを祝う節目の祭事ですが、その深夜に生まれた主人公リーシャの誕生日は新年の1日……つまり、ハロウィン翌日の11月1日がリーシャの誕生日です🎂 #LaoiseKawaii #IndieGame
