Multiple executions took place across different parts of the city, targeting alleged members of Los Cabrera of Mayito Flacos. At the same time, a Mexican general, Arturo Medina Mayoral, was reportedly in Jerez, Zacatecas, staying at a hotel with other individuals, including regional figures connected to MF. Witnesses reported heavily armed men traveling in white pickup trucks (RAMs and Hiluxes) marked with the initials “F-Z,” referring to a group called “Fuerza Zacatecana.” This group is said to operate in several municipalities, including Jerez, Fresnillo, Río Grande, and Guadalupe, and appears to be directly targeting MF.
