@TSXDivStock It’s trading well below comps and fair value. Did the company provide new dividend info?

Transcontinental trading ex-spec div today. The 'new' $TCL.A currently at $4.20 has a 5.7% div (low 30% payout) and is valued at a PE of under 5x (based on recent est). CIBC targets $8 in a year. 👀

Wow that escalated quickly! High of $5.53 this morning. Just over a week ago you could have bought the shares at $22.85. Backing out the $20 div, that's a 94% return. I'm done, might buy it back under $5.

@NonObviously I assume you mean for their target price? They have a comp sheet which shows the 'Peer group' at 8.2x. That group being $D.UN and $AP.UN. 😆

True North is a small cap office REIT that trades at an extremely low valuation (4.1x FFO, 41% disc to NAV), but is struggling with vacancies and high debt. CIBC reduces their target: $TNT.UN

Power Corp $POW.TO received a couple of upgrades today (RBC below), trading at 21% discount to NAV with strong dividend growth and active buyback prog:

$HR.UN #REIT trustee Julie Morrow with a late filing today showing a ~$200k cash purchase of units - around 10x what she made in cash from the company in 2025 not including unit based awards. She was already twice above unit ownership requirements.👍

Transcontinental is about to pay a $20 dividend from the sale of it's packaging division. The remaining $TCL.A will struggle to grow, but the valuation looks interesting. Near term, Scotia est 3.4M shares for sale by indexers could hold the stock down (snippet from Dec below).

@CDInewsletter It's cheap, and I'm tempted to add, but it's so small/illiquid. I've owned some small/under-followed REITs, such as PLZ.UN and BTB.UN, but this is much smaller than those.

Canadian Net REIT came out with 2025 earnings last night: - FFO $0.663/unit, up 10% - Rental income up 7.1% - NOI up 6.9% - AFFO up 12% - 52.5% FFO payout ratio I expect a distribution raise in the summer. Nice numbers, still trades for 9x FFO (way too cheap, IMO) $NET.un

Cdn bond yields are dropping again today. The BoC won’t cut tomorrow, but with improved CPI and the ugly February jobs report, a cut could come soon.

@TSXDivStock I've seen CIBC and RBC notes so far and they both described results as good beats vs. their consensus info, FWIW. Earnings call and guidance reflect DHT's very conservative approach, with plenty of potential for outperformance. Stifel on call said valuation at 50 % RPRX weird.
