Red Dress Day on May 5 is a day of remembering Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2LGBTQQIA people, started by artist Jaime Black in 2010 to raise awareness and educate Canadians about the ongoing harm and trauma done to Indigenous women and communities.
