@Theholisticpsyc Are we more likely to be depressed because there is so much more to aspire to or because we see so much more that makes us depressed or because there are fewer well trained therapists?

The normalization of depression has always puzzled me. If a majority of the population works at a job they dislike, comes home to a relationship without connection, and barely has the financial security to make ends meet, depression is the natural response. Human beings have emotional, relational, and spiritual needs. When they’re not met, we’re emotionally unwell.

tumour has HALVED lads. Saw my surgeon this morning and he is thrilled, confirmed it will be a lumpectomy rather than a mastectomy which is brilliant. Basically knocking it out the park, love and positivity from my Twitter fam has been invaluable. Big up your chests 🙏🏼
