@WitcherFreak5 There’s a fine line between wanting a good product and accepting an overpriced one. These are straight ports with no meaningful improvements. I just don’t think paying $60+ for 15-year-old content is something we should normalize.

Sony used to understand why physical games mattered. Now they want $140 for 15-year-old Black Ops games and expect us not to worry about an all-digital future!

@Tadbusters A fire can take a whole library. A robbery can take a whole library. I’ve lost access to a lot of physical games in 40 years. I haven’t lost access to 1 digital in the last 20 years.

Physical games can be passed down. Digital games die with your account.

@Tadbusters At least it’s cheaper than what the call of duty company was selling them. On the PC because they aren’t on Steam so I went to the site Activision. I think they wanted $80.

@SdotV24 Show me where I said Sony sets the price. PS5 players are still being charged this through Sony’s storefront with no physical way to play it on PS5. You’re arguing with a sentence I never said.

With DLC the total cost here in the US is $64 That’s IF you have PlayStation Plus. If not it’s $140+ tax for both + DLC. Not to mention you don’t even own them and Sony can revoke these from you at any moment. Did I mention BO2 was just on sale (with DLC) for $5 on the Steam Summer sale?
