Played demo of Midnight Blood Rush and this game was very entertaining. This action roguelike has a fast paced gameplay where we defeat our enemies in small arenas and sucking their blood. Gameplay is very smooth, controls are easy and accurate. I liked how we keep our health up by sucking blood of our enemies and use our health (or bleed) to get upgrades to our skills. This type of upgrade mechanic forces us to avoid damage and play better. While the demo only have Chapter 1 and two bosses, it has a replay value with trying out other skills and upgrades. Visual style, music and sound effects are very good. Liked the designs of our character and enemies/bosses and how they stand out being 2D within 3D environment and objects.
