One of my favourite illustrators of organisational life is @voinonen. Here she is highlighting wicked problems (messes). These are complex issues involving many interdependent factors, making them hard to define & understand fully & with no clear solution. Most of the issues we deal with in health & care fit into this category. That's why, as leaders of change, we need to take an experimenter's mindset, creating small test of change, because it is difficult to predict what cause & effect will be.
