I love the convenience of trains as someone who can’t drive but picking a ‘favourite’ is extremely rough and not because they are all amazing.
I’m not a train nerd so I’m thinking of companies like trans-penine express, swr, avanti west coasts etc and they are all expensive and full of delays. I do genuinely find Avanti trains very comfortable and they have plug sockets but again… I’d know I’d rather be shot on the spot before I ever called them a great company
With that being established I choose the double decker trains in Amsterdam with the step that pops out of them at stations cos they are cool
