in April 1953, President Eisenhower gave a speech called 'The Chance for Peace'.. he said: "every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed"..
Eisenhower was a five-star general who commanded the largest military operation in history.. and he spent the last years of his presidency warning America about exactly what we're watching happen..
your hospital can't afford nurses.. your school is cutting teachers.. your rent is up 40% in three years..
but the military budget just went up 67% in 12 months..
the war is paying for itself..

This reveals the heart of our president, more than any speech or TruthSocial post. He has no problem asking for $1.5 trillion for a single year of a defense budget, $200 billion for a supplemental for a war that should never have been chosen; has no problem sacrificing the lives of 13 American service members and 300 wounded – so far – all to keep wars going that we don’t need, and cannot afford.
But the people? No, we’ve got no money for them.
The total money that would be spent to take care of our own people is far less than these “excursions” he loves to brag about, and then once the war he chose
gets hard, Trump wants to walk away, and let everyone else pick up the tab and clean up the mess that he himself generated.
That is the heart of the president. This is his true self. It is not America first, it is not America at all…

This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America.
Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion.
They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us.
This was not a drill.
This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans.
Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst.
Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends.

This is the big problem with the “SAVE Act” that Trump and most Republicans say needs to be passed immediately (otherwise they won’t fund TSA or negotiate with Democrats on literally anything)
A driver’s license would actually *not* be enough to vote
You’d have to present your birth certificate (many have lost theirs) and/or buy a passport (expensive) depending on marital status, middle name, etc.
In short, it’s very reasonable to be pro-voter ID yet anti-Save Act
