This month broke me. I worked my ass off for six months to finally push past $4k just to watch it all disappear in a matter of weeks. $82 left. That’s it. It hurts even typing that. This market has no heart. No mercy. Technicals don’t mean shit when headlines and noise can flip everything in seconds. Feels like you can do everything right and still get run over. I always keep it real on here so I’m not going to sugarcoat it. I’m discouraged. I’m exhausted. I feel pretty broken right now. I think I need to step away for a bit and reset before I lose more than just money. And if you’re here to troll or leave some slick comment, save it. I’m not in the space for that. I’ll just block you. If you’re going through it too, you’re not alone.

I could write a longer, drawn out tweet why Pokemon investing is dumb as your sole investing avenue, but I’ll just say this….. If you have $10k in modern sealed and hold it for 30 years, you will reach a point where most of it will not move. There will never be a customer base as large as the WOTC nostalgia boomers. As someone who works directly with kids, the amount of kids who have never heard of or considered checking out Pokemon as a franchise is low, meaning that the potential customer base to buy all the sealed being held today will be extremely limited. You will not have as many buyers for Evo Skies in 30 years as we do with WOTC, but the amount of it being kept sealed is probably 100x or more 🤷‍♂️

Je le dis sans la moindre haine ni ressentiment, mais du pur constat d'un lecteur ayant commencé quand l'arc de Skypea était en cours: One Piece est peut-être le seul manga voir l'unique oeuvre d'art au monde méritant l'adjectif "surcoté" Le manga ne propose plus RIEN depuis 50 tomes facile. Le découpage est incompréhensible 99% du temps (le dernier chapitre, putain) les personnages principaux font souffler les lecteurs, les combats sont devenus des mongols clash de haki et sans aucun enjeu, ça s'éternise, il y a toujours de plus en plus de personnages et de mystères pour donner un semblant de profondeur... La vérité vraie, encore une fois sans haine, vous la voulez? One Piece sort en 2026, tout le monde dirait que c'est un manga qui va se faire axe, se fouterait du scénario comme de celui de JJK (Luffy va pas battre Kaido avec un coup de poing, hein!) ou en aurait juste rien à foutre, et il tomberait instantanément dans l'oubli. Toute la force (et potentielle faiblesse) de One Piece c'est 1) tirer sur la vibe nostalgique et les mystères: un lecteur de 2001 a envie de savoir c'est quoi le One Piece 2) La résolution de ses mystères et il y a intérêt que ça aille plus loin que Imu = Umi et la fin c'est un grand banquet soreto you wanna be my friend Selon la fin, les fans de One Piece pourront se manger le plus grand SLANDER de toute l'histoire d'internet. Quand on voit ce qu'a mangé SNK, imagine ça, mais avec une oeuvre que tu as attendu TRENTE ans
