The Slenderman for DBD

hello! i made this account to provide support to both Slenderman and The Operator for their rightful place in dead by daylight’s roster. if you’re a fan of dbd, slenderman, or internet horror in general, feel free to follow this account, as i’ll post about these things regularly.

i’ve only had this account for about a full 2 days now. what i’ve learned from friends who have successful 4dbd accounts, and operating a 4dbd account a few times before myself: you really need to learn when to give up your ego and your pride sometimes.

i try to see the best in everything and everyone, so i hope you have it in your heart to listen to me. even if this is a sorta childish wish …

admittedly, i had harbored a lot of anger in my heart for him the past month now, due to how much trouble he’s caused in the 4dbd scene, and for slenderman fans. i don’t want to be angry and hateful anymore, though.

Imagine being called out by the community manager of the game you're trying to get your fav liscence in and STILL not thinking youre in the wrong. Anywho you should follow @TheSlender4DbD bc they'll actually properly rep for all versions of slenderman in dbd :))

@Ghostface_4_MK1 if there’s anything to look forward to: eric pope and troy wagner (creator of marble hornets), are in talks currently, and have been for about a week or so now! we can expect the operator to at least make an appearance in the fog in the coming years.

@Ghostface_4_MK1 i think we still have a chance! i don’t think bhvr would let one guy ruin the fun for everybody. i do, however, understand why people may not want him anymore, unfortunately.

@SlasherDreams NOOO, i was really hoping this was the first ever time a killer was released, and was relatively bug-free 😭 that sounds hellish, and i’m glad that hasn’t happened to me yet. make sure to report that to the forums!!

I’ve noticed in some games (On Xbox) at least, he will walk off in one direction almost and then all the sudden he’s right next to me. Not in the sense of his power was used, but that he’s glitched or lagging, I’ve also had games where my throwing spike gets stuck in my hand for 3 minutes and then I’m teleported back to where I was when I picked it up. But besides these issues a lot of my games have been just fine, this only really happens here and there. (My internet doesn’t seem too be having any problems so not sure if it’s a me problem or just day 1 issues for wide release as there were several issues yesterday such as the map issues and the Krause skin)

goodmorning, everyone. it’s been almost a full day since jason’s release into the fog. how’re we feeling about him? personally, i think he feels great on both sides so far. i don’t think i’ve come across any bugs while playing as or against him either, which is amazing.

@Kios3A i hope you can get around to playing him, he is fun! i’ve only ever played deltarune’s demo, so i need to get around to buying the full game someday. i heard it’s really good, though, and i hope the new chapter pleases you!

@TheSlender4DbD I haven’t had a chance to check him out since I have been playing deltarune for an upcoming release related to it but based on the ptb I did play he seems fun but a bit powercreep-y

i based this list entirely on how well i personally believe each license was adapted, as well as how they’re treated content-wise. i acknowledge some things are beyond bhvr’s control, so they are not solely to blame.
