Hey @thetrainline, I have travel booked via London tomorrow. It’s a return journey on a split save outbound and advanced single inbound (on Friday). With the tube strikes it throws my journey into chaos. Can I cancel all my tickets and re-book using the East Coast mainline?

@Chris13828347 There's engineering works taking place until 8th June, so the buses will be in place replacing journeys between Bristil Parkway and Newport. You'll be fine for travelling on 20th June -(1/2)

@thetrainline lol I waited 30minutes when the app said usually within 5. instead of answering my question kept referring me to the ticket. If I could find it on the fucking ticket I wouldn’t be asking!!! Customer Service, answer the question and explain where to find info! DAF

@thetrainline I had an extremely bad journey going to Birmingham from Worksop (Thursday) and back again (Sunday). Cancelled train there, took me 90 minutes longer to get to my destination. Then back where I took an earlier train to get home (had advanced), due to cancellations.

Biggest lie I have seen from @thetrainline i did not want any split tickets which has pushed up the price of my ticket. I wanted a Blackpool return which I usually get from ticket office but the app cant even get that right giving me advanced tickets which are no use to me

Don't you hate it when you book on @thetrainline and it makes you take extra changes which you don't need? So it can put you on a scrappy advanced ticket at Manchester you don't want ? Bloody awful app.

@thetrainline @CrossCountryUK this doesn't feel right. Booked tickets via Trainline, take out insurance & CrossCountry cancel the train. Trainline say claim via CrossCountry who say as i didn't book via them, it's not their issue. Insurer say get a later train so wont pay.
