The heart behind the question is the real problem. A friend I'll not name because I didn't ask permission to out him said when asking this question, it wasn't to determine his value to them, but to determine their value to him. So...also...that's my confession too. Both actually.

Sunday "services" have a gravitational pull on the focus, attention, & work of a church that can keep the leaders and body from moving their feet toward the mission field beyond the walls... those who will likely never feel the pull to enter our building...
