It’s time to unveil our new checker! You’ve been waiting for it, and now it’s finally here. A few additional details: We didn’t just listen to you; we also took your feedback seriously (yes, some teams actually do that, and we’re one of them). Total airdrop allocation increased from 5% of the total supply to 14% of the total supply. Here’s what we’ve done in response: ▪️Significantly increased the airdrop allocated to NFTs, with an average boost of +120%. ▪️Expanded the number of eligible wallets for ATOM stakers by removing the requirement to vote manually and including validator votes. This increased eligible wallets from 50k to 160k—a big leap—and we tripled the total token distribution for this category. Key updates: We’ve listened to our holders, who told us we should reward those who’ve stayed with us. That’s exactly what we’ve done, with a second snapshot taken on December 6. The results are as follows: ▪️Holders: +120% allocation on your NFTs (maximum allocation). ▪️Sellers: +25% bonus + base allocation (we still wanted to reward you fairly). ▪️New buyers: 75% of the bonus, as we also value those who recently joined us. We also heard the community regarding the Cadets, who demonstrated incredible understanding. ▪️Cadets will receive 50% of their allocation now and 50% at the end of the Reward Center. Why? Because the balance is as follows: ▪️50% of the allocation from the first airdrop during the testnet (yes, we increased this as well to ensure fairness). ▪️50% of the allocation from the first airdrop for the mainnet, tied to the Reward Center. This means NFT holders still have a nice bonus waiting for them. It made sense for us that everyone benefits together! It's growth season! Yesterday Stride announced an expansion to @berachain. And Stride's existing LSTs - especially stTIA - are poised for huge growth in Q4. To support the growth Stride is experiencing, the Stride Association is proposing a slight tokenomics change 👇 Currently, 85% of Stride protocol fees are allocated to STRD stakers as staking rewards. The proposal is to redirect this 85% of fees to buying and burning STRD. To show some concrete numbers, today this portion of the Stride protocol fee amounts to about $650,000 annualized. The max supply of STRD is 100M. So given the current fees and current STRD price, today this proposal would result in roughly 1% of the STRD supply being burned annually. After much discussion with advisors, partners, and community members, the Stride Association believes this would be a more effective way of utilizing Stride fees. It's the summer, and things have slowed down. But even so, Stride protocol still collecting $1M in annualized fees, most of which is distributed to stakers. TVL = $96M. Blended staking APR for liquid staked tokens = 11%. Fee = 10%. Neutral. Secure. Sustainable.

On January 30th, Stride launched the stDYDX airdrop. This airdrop helped introduce the @dYdX community to Stride and led to many stDYDX DeFi integrations. Now that the stDYDX airdrop period has concluded, users who held stDYDX during the period will be able to claim their allocated STRD. In order to ensure the smoothest claim process possible, STRD from the stDYDX airdrop will be made claimable within the next three weeks. When claiming is available, users will be able to claim their full STRD allocation at once. Note that a total of 150,000 STRD has been allocated to users who held stDYDX during the airdrop period. Once claiming is live, there will be a three-month claim window. Unclaimed STRD at the end of this claim window will be repurposed.
