Europeans like to scoff at American gluttony, but an underrated factor in the US obesity crisis is that American food is just unreasonably good. Not fine dining specifically, but the average sports bar or taqueria or diner food is just much tastier than typical Euro equivalents

MURDER PROBE LAUNCHED AFTER PRIMROSE HILL STABBING
A 21 year old man was stabbed and pronounced dead at the scene and a second man was found nearby with injuries, not said to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
Police say the investigation is “unfolding at pace” and are urging witnesses to come forward.

The whole point of the Atlantic alliance is that it would be operative regardless of which politicians were elected in member nations. That's why we have treaties.

This post is bang right on one thing - you buy a wind turbine or solar panel and you have power for 20 years. No one can hold you hostage and you don’t have to keep paying. If you buy a barrel of oil or a cubic meter of gas it’s gone the moment you use it. Renewable energy is there for decades. Fossil fuel is disposable. It’s a subscription product from very unreliable providers.

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.
