The only Thelwell signings we made a small loss on are Maupay and Chemiti but that was more than covered by the £20m profit on Onana
Anyone criticising the free transfer signings of Tarkowski and Young needs to remember where we were as a club 2,3,4 years ago when we were having to balance the books by selling players and replacing them with free transfers, loans and players bought on the Klarna ie buy now pay later

£20m profit on Onana as well
I think we'd even make a profit on the much maligned Beto

Watched the game back & 1. Merlin Rohl is a helluva find. Hope he keeps his place. 2. Iroegbunum was very, very good. (Might be KT's best signing after N'Diaye & Garner.) Super excited to see these two develop even more next season.

I always felt it was daft how Patterson was dropped after a clean sheet at West Ham a few years' back and it's daft how he's not retained his place after wins and clean sheets this season.
Big respect for how he's kept going, kept his chin up and delivered solid performances.

Everton fans have learned to tolerate Mykolenko
For a decent side, he is a backup left back. Would pickup a good wage, and be needed against certain wingers or when a more technical, balanced left back is injured.
The club know it - hence why contract situation is messy.
