Israeli media report 50 warplanes dropped 160 bombs across Lebanon in minutes. Lebanese media describe an apocalyptic Beirut: bodies scattered, massacres unfolding, and one of the fiercest bombardments since 1982. Israel is sabotaging any chance of truce or regional stability the only way its war machine knows how: through mass killing and colonial terror.

I have a very very strong suspicion that the Israelis committed this latest atrocity in Lebanon to push the Iranians to withdraw from the ceasefire agreement, knowing full well that the ambiguity over whether Lebanon is included poses a problem for Iran. News just now that the IRGC has threatened to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed if Lebanon is not included. Israel is trying to torpedo the agreement, and on Sunday Netanyahu tried to talk Trump out of it, according to Israeli media.

If the war truly ends with Iran in possession of the strait of Hormuz--as is currently the case--and if negotiations proceed according to Iran's 10-points, which include full sanctions relief and Iran charging tolls for use of the strait, then the outcome of the war will be clear.
And it won't be a US victory.

The incident is indicative to me of the broader problem where the state is unwilling or unable to disarm the Sunni majority, & resorting to mob behaviour when a dispute or controversy arises. This needs to stop. Disarmament for all communities, please.

Spoke w/someone in Suqaylabiya: what happened is people from Qalaat al-Mudiq harrassed Christian girls in the town. Men from Suqaylabiya told them to stop, & subsequently people from Qalaat al-Mudiq brought others from their town to attack stores & terrorise people in Suqaylabiya

A Turkish tanker named ALTURA, loaded with possibly Russian crude oil, was attacked with Kamikaze drones in the Black Sea, 15 miles off the Istanbul Strait.
Damage occurred on the ship's deck and in the engine room.
It is known that the tanker ship, loaded with 140 thousand tons of oil, departed from Russia.
Damage was reported on the tanker's bridge, and it was announced that it took on water in the engine room.
Turkey has sent emergency rescue vessels to the area
