Ugh. This is DISGUSTING @LushLtd. Teenage girls love to shop in your stores and here you are happily encouraging them to CUT OFF THEIR HEALTHY BREASTS in the name of trans pride. This is beyond repulsive. It's dangerous and sick. No parent should allow their child near your stores. Please share: #BoycottLushNow

Dear Lush (cc Chelmsford City Council), As a woman who had half a breast removed last year due to cancer, I am writing to raise my concerns about your “Proud of My Stripes” window display. I am also, on behalf of other women who have experienced breast cancer, respectfully requesting its removal. Because mastectomies are not a fashion statement, an identity marker or something to be celebrated. They are something women undergo because they are ill, because they are frightened, because they are trying to stay alive. Around 59,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year. Many will undergo surgery - a mastectomy, lumpectomy or other procedure. Others choose preventive mastectomies because they carry a high-risk BRCA gene mutation. If a woman chooses to have her breasts removed to affirm a gender identity, that is her personal choice. I honestly don’t know the number of women who have elective mastectomies for this reason. What I do know is that it is a tiny number compared with those for whom breast surgery is medically necessary and not something to be celebrated. I think I speak for many women who have experienced breast cancer - and for their families - when I say this: Breast removal surgery is not something I regard as cute, playful or empowering. Nor is it something I believe retailers should be celebrating. For that reason, I am requesting that the display be removed and that @ChelmsCouncil apologise for promoting it on social media. Yours sincerely, Janet Murray

How come as soon as troons start to pass even slightly they start dressing very provocatively and goonbaiting like any other western female? Why does "She" feel the need to arch her back and wear a tiny dress to tempt men?

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x No they're not the majority. You spoke of marketing. Would it be wise to use non colloquial language for marketing? They want to sell as.much as possible using the language of the majority.

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x The goal of marketing is to appeal to the biggest number of people possible. For the biggest number gender refers to male / female.

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x I know MB has registered such usage. Such isn't the meaning I'm using. You may use it if you wish. I have made it clear which meaning I'm using.

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x No, I'm not. I'm not redefining any words. I'm using established, colloquial, mainstream, valid meanings of words, that allow me to communicate with the majority of the population.

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x Majority rule has always been what determines meaning of language in a free society. Gender a medical term? I thought it was a social term? Didn't you imply a little ago that? Confusing.

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x I want to clarify that you can speak in any way you want. You're free to do so. If by gender you mean skirt going spinny, you do you. All I've said is regarding the meaning of MY words.

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x Doctors, scientists, etc don't get to redefine words either. They're not the majority of people. Gender is the sex of a person. Whenever people say there's two genders they're not saying there's two presentations. We are saying there's two sexes.

@ToontownHacks @Burnttt_x You don't read. Meaning in a free society is determined democratically. I have stated this several times. Yes they are. They don't get to redefine words. Meaning is established democratically.
