Destroy the City: Karen Bass has cut street services by $61M, cut sanitation by $11M, cut general services by $54M, street lighting by $7.5M and cut public works board by $8.4M — all to massively increase LAPD wages. Now she is asking for volunteers to make up the difference.

@trogglodytes Posted like a true idiot who doesn't understand the homelessness issue. Cops aren't interested or trained to deal with this issue. It's Social Workers and clinical therapists who have the training and skill set. Cops make $100,000+ while Social Workers can resolve the issue.

Replace all the politicians on LA Metro with mainly experts in engineering, law enforcement, and finance I don't think the status quo of having board members be politicians who are pressured into enacting terrible policies regardless of whether they're good or transit is ideal
