I'm in the Trybe but I'm not fast enough to get a ticket when they go on sale and getting up front where I can hear and see you (with my walker) looks impossible with SRO on the floor. Friends, as some of you know, I'm having some serious surgery on my right eye next Monday the 23rd. I have a ride to the VA hospital for my 7am check in and I will be in surgery/recovery for 6 or 7 hours. What I'm looking for is some who can be available on Monday afternoon (starting after 1pm) to drive me home after my surgery. They won't let me ride the bus or take an Uber/Lyft after anesthesia and if there isn't a person to sign me out, I'll have to stay overnight. If you can be available on Monday afternoon, please DM me on Facebook with your name and your phone number so I can turn it in when I check in. They will call you when I am ready to go home. Parking is free at the VA and the covered bridge between the garage and the hospital is on Level 3. If you're able to help, thank you.

Well, I have news that may be good or bad depending on the results later this month. I have RETINOSCHISIS (a split in the retina with cyst‑like fluid pockets inside the split) in both eyes. My right eye has progressed far enough that my ophthalmologist has scheduled me for eye surgery on March 23rd. (surgery meaning knock me out, stick a knife in my eye and try to repair the area). It is an outpatient procedure so I will be at the hospital for six to seven hours that day. The good part could be that it is repaired successfully, and the bad part is I could need another surgery on the eye or there's a possibility I could go blind in that eye anyway (low chance 10% or less). So, wish me luck or curse me to fail. I will hope for the best. As always, GRATITUDE > attitude.
