WE HAVE STARTED AN ENCAMPMENT ON TRINITY’S CAMPUS. TRINITY HAS CLOSED DOWN THE CAMPUS TO EVERYONE EXCEPT STUDENTS AND STAFF. WE NEED ALL THE SUPPORT WE CAN GET FROM STUDENTS AND STAFF FREE PALESTINE ALL EYES ON GAZA 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

Our next National March for Palestine is on 22nd March! We need to let our government know that we are done with excuses – we want meaningful sanctions on genocidal, apartheid Israel. Join us! Bring your friends, family, flags and solidarity. #FreePalestine #SanctionsNow 🇵🇸

If college doesn’t follow through with this request, we will then be organizing more actions in due course.

These are photos from a banner drop we organized today in response to the new link with an Israeli supplier that we discovered in the FOI request. We are demanding that the college donates the full amount paid to the supplier (€1836) to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

APPROVED BY UNIVERSITY COUNCIL! @tcddublin will imminently begin the process of investigating and cutting ties with Israeli institutions through a taskforce with a huge BDS mandate. Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Tomorrow, the board of @tcddublin will vote on the terms of reference for the committee investigating the college’s academic ties to Israel. The TOR contains multiple student, staff and union reps with mandates to support BDS - the duty of our university is to approve this.

The message to the Irish government is very clear, they must enact the #OccupiedTerritoriesBill Are you listening @SimonHarrisTD @MichealMartinTD @rodericogorman ?

Statement on the Recognition of the State of Palestine by @tcdsu @TrinityBDS. While this move is a significant gesture, it needs to be backed by firm action. Sever diplomatic ties, enact sanctions, support fleeing students and stop the use of Shannon Airport by the U.S. military!
