Correct. With ~$265-290M projected net loss for 2026 (and ongoing negative FCF), plus ~$4B+ debt load, AMC needs external capital to cover cash shortfalls and debt service. They've extended maturities via lender deals and used ATM equity sales (dilution) at current prices. $428M YE2025 cash buys time, but sustained raises are required absent profitability.

$AMC is in a rough spot. Any trader/investor knows that the barrier of $1 share price can be quite volatile once broken. Especially with more dilution on the horizon due to money losing operations. I’m not making any predictions, but I have seen horrendous price action occur once the $1 threshold is crossed in many stocks before.

I know from my own losses and in reading your comments on X/Twitter how distraught many of you are with falling share prices. In looking at the likely 2026 industry-wide Box Office, we still expect it to grow materially over 2025 and if so that inexorably would significantly increase AMC’s EBITDA. However, the external macro backdrop around us is terrible. War in the Middle East, world oil prices soaring above $100 per barrel and other concerns have knocked the Dow Jones average to its lowest point in five months and the S&P 500 to its lowest point in four months. As for AMC, I am optimistic about our power to increase our earnings this year over last year. As for the state of the world, we will all read the news together. Naturally, we all can wish for the best on global developments.

I don't know how many times I've had to regurgitate this: Adam is THE ONLY reason AMC hasn't filed for bankruptcy. He's quoted as saying: "'I didn't let the first company I ran go into bankruptcy, and I'll be damned if I'm going to let the last company I run go bankrupt." ANYONE who is calling for him to step down wants bankruptcy. This is coming from me who doesn't trust him. Could he resign tomorrow and say, "Hey, 6 years they called for bankruptcy and I didn't let it happen so I'm passing on the reigns to someone else who I hope will continue keeping AMC alive!" Yes. But not until his shares are worth more far more than $2M.
