@MonkeyCharts It’s sick TBH. And it’s not just the elderly either, it largely feels like scams and tolerance for scamming has gone through the roof. Not great for a populace that largely already feels like the deck is stacked against them.

People joke about "It's not enough that I win, others must lose" but the crazy part is that a lot of successful people unironically think like this. To them, life is zero-sum top to bottom, and every person who pulls themselves up into wealth makes their life a little worse.
