A 12-week fetus cannot survive in a NICU because it cannot exist outside the womb at all. That's why viability matters.

@UFP74656 @prolifefrenchie More and more babies survive around the 22-23 week mark. They previously didn't think it was possible. Many babies are born shy of 38w with little to no NICU time, depending on why they're early and how big they are.

During my pregnancy, my midwife asked if I wanted to test for Down Syndrome. I told her no. She kept insisting, at every single appointment. In my country, nearly ALL Down Syndrome babies are aborted. No thanks, stay the fuck away from my child.

Of course it needs food. Compared to a premie who's skin is like tissue paper and the organs don't work right.
