Que Djokovic siga en el circuito es bueno para el tenis. Que una leyenda como él siga en activo, engrandece el deporte, atrae fans (a los torneos y a la tv) y añade picante a la competición. Igual que se echa mucho de menos a Federer y Nadal, el día que Nole ya no esté, se echará en falta verle jugar. Seguro que la gran mayoría que ahora le tira de todo, el día de mañana se acordará de la época del Big 3 y de ver a Djokovic competir como lo hace ahora, conteniendo a chicos 16-17 años menores que él. Podría llevar 2-3 años en la playa, disfrutando de la vida con su familia, pero a sus 37 palos sigue eligiendo despertarse mañanas como la de hoy y poner en riesgo su físico, teniendo una lesión, para competir en pista. Que nadie se olvide de eso. Por todo esto, Novak, gracias por seguir por aquí y que nos aguantes aún mucho tiempo más.

I had never seen Monte Carlo so empty. All matches are usually packed. Remember Novak’s practices? Standing room only, people queuing outside, standing on low walls to be able to watch. Tennis is in trouble.

A lot of empty seats in Monte Carlo, must say I'm surprised I've been to @ROLEXMCMASTERS many times and Thousands of Italians usually make the short trip across the border. I was expecting a full house for all of Sinners matches.
