Russia continues to bring suffering to Ukrainian families, killing children who should have had a future. The international community must stop Russia’s terror and ensure full accountability for every life taken.

The girl was wounded on March 28 when Russian forces shelled a residential home in the Shostka district of the Sumy region. Her 20-year-old sister, Dasha Serhiienko, was killed in the strike. The girls’ parents were also injured.

A six-year-old Yevheniia has died in hospital after being seriously wounded in a Russian attack, during which her older sister tried to shield her with her own body. Doctors fought to save the child’s life, but her injuries proved fatal.

These attacks once again demonstrate that Russia has no intention of ending its war. What matters is the determination of the international community. United pressure can stop Russia’s aggression.

In Zaporizhzhia, one person was killed and five others injured as a result of a combined Russian strike. A high-rise building caught fire at one location, while a residential building was partially damaged at another.

Russia has once again attacked Ukraine, killing three civilians and injuring at least 12. In the Poltava region, residential buildings, a hotel, and industrial facilities were damaged by Russian strikes. Two people were killed and seven others injured, including one child.
