Good and bad to Punk/Roman. Good: Punk treated it like the match of his life and was clearly puttting his all into it, which was shockingly somewhat uncommon this weekend. Felt big in ambition. No bullshit overbooking. The Bad: (Next tweet.)

Obvious stair DQ aside, that was just a stellar WrestleMania main event. One of the best matches of Roman Reigns’ career too. You just gotta let the wrestlers wrestle.

@JonAlba I need to be fair because when AEW does it, I kill them- the ref not counting when both were outside and acting like this was a no dq match was ridiculous but it was a great match- they beat the shit out of each other

I have officially flip flopped. I miss WrestleMania being one night. I understand the business reasoning for two nights but it doesn’t feel as special. I find myself realizing it’s 7p and there are two matches left in WrestleMania. Feels weird.

@A_L_W_podcast AEW is not for me- and WWE sucks right now- but I just don’t like the style of do everything in every match, don’t sell much, kick out of everything- But I can see if you like that style, wwe being completely unwatchable for you

It is not tribalistic to say one wrestling show is better than the other. Some of y’all really need to learn the definition of tribalism. WrestleMania didn’t deliver. 1 hour and 23 minutes of wrestling on a 4 HOUR WRESTLEMANIA! That is a DISGRACE! This is why I enjoy AEW and their PPVs over WWE’s. It is not tribalistic to give an honest opinion. I still watch WWE and do love the product at times. But, I LOVE WRESTLING I don’t care on who is in the crowd celebrity wise, I barely knew any of them anyway. I don’t have to see ad break, after ad break, after ad break. I got LESS WRESTLING and MORE ADS! And this is supposed to be WRESTLEmania. Felt more like COMMERCIALmania. This is also MY OPINION. Y’all can respect my opinion, just as I do yours. If you loved WrestleMania night 1 and thought it was the best and enjoyed every thing about the show better than I did… AWESOME! I’m not going to belittle you, talk down to you, say you’re a tribalist, or anything. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY IT. If you prefer WWE over any other wrestling show then GOOD, enjoy it. But my opinion is my opinion. The 3 matches that stood out to me and I thought were awesome on night 1 of #WrestleMania: • Drew McIntyre vs Jacob Fatu • Seth Rollins vs Gunther • Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton Every other match didn’t deliver TO ME. The other matches should’ve went longer than they did and more wrestling. It is sad that I got home from a football game with my family and was able to rewatch a 4 HOUR WRESTLING SHOW in 1 hour and 23 minutes and was still able to do my review. If I didn’t love WWE, I wouldn’t have rewatched WrestleMania or did a review. I love and respect everyone I collab with, support, and talk to on here. I respect your opinion if you enjoyed it or if you thought it was garbage. Either way, you’re cool with me. I pretty strongly agree with this. Evans is obviously an uber talent but that move is the kind of thing people criticize AEW for.
