@devisridhar please stand up for our children and recommend ELC settings and schools reopen NOW. The harms are extensive, known and completely avoidable. All shut as a precaution - completely disproportionate act and not in line with evidence of harms (huge) vs benefits (tiny).

I’m increasingly convinced by data from countries across the world that we are underestimating the harms of keeping young kids out of school & overplaying their role in transmission. Children should be in school.

None of which parents can do now. No house visits, no toddler classes, limited opportunities for social contact for little ones outside nursery.
