I live about 5 hours away from Seattle, would have to subscribe to Comcast to watch away games. MLB has about a dozen games a year I could watch that are not blacked out. On top of that the radio stations here don't even carry the games. SMH. Make Root application based. I'd buy it on a stand alone subscription in a heart beat. Bring on the soccer teams and the Blazers. Make it a worthwhile NW thing.

This is why the Mariners are where they are. Not Comcast, not Warner Bros Discovery. They bought ROOT at its peak to be a massive revenue stream for the club, and the value of that revenue stream has declined to the brink of collapse. A bad business decision, plain and simple.
