On 1 Dec 2025, Ambassador Nguyễn Thanh Hải received and held discussions with the Vietnamese Trade Union delegation on the Viet Nam–India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including cooperation between trade unions of the two countries.

On 21 Jan 2026, Amb. Nguyen Thanh Hai held a fruitful discussion on people-to-people diplomacy and youth exchanges between 🇻🇳 and 🇮🇳 with a delegation of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, led by Mr. Hoang Duc Nam.

Amb. Nguyen Thanh Hai met with the India–Vietnam Solidarity Committee on 8 July, thanking them for decades of heartfelt support since 1978. Chairman Salim of IVSC, Politburo member of CPI(M), reaffirmed strong solidarity with Vietnam, past, present, & future 🇻🇳🤝🇮🇳

On 7 July 2025, Amb. Nguyen Thanh Hai met with Prof. Ajay Pratap Singh, Director General of India’s National Library & donated English books on 🇻🇳 to its Vietnam Corner — the only one of its kind in the Library. Prof. Singh expressed deep appreciation for the gift. 🇻🇳📚🇮🇳

On 7 July, Amb. Nguyen Thanh Hai visited Lalit Great Eastern Hotel in Kolkata, where President Ho Chi Minh stayed on 1/06/1946 en route to the Fontainebleau Conference. The hotel preserves a plaque marking this historic visit. 🇻🇳🕊️🇮🇳
