@Zan_alien @Mashiro_yuh Although I do agree that entertainment is a luxury item, I think the comparison is slightly off. It’s like being able to buy a Ferrari that’s in Italy, but some of the car shops near the person sell them at a 5X price, and the others sell them with half the parts at full price.

@RainyRentyn Although I do appreciate being in one of those sites, they did actually make a mistake on my page on put 1k subscribers on YouTube. I can’t tell if they intended to make such a mistake, but it certainly is one

This might get me in trouble with some people but I don't care. Vtubers are some of the most entitled people, I swear. With the Project Bācharu Toshokan situation, I've seen many Vtubers whining that they weren't included, as if they were specifically EXCLUDED which isn't the case. I can understand asking "Hey how does this project pull info so I can be included later?" But to get angry at the creator KazamaVT as if it was a personal attack just ain't it. It draws from other websites that have info on you, so if you don't have things like a vtuber wiki page or similar, you wouldn't be on there most likely. This isn't the first time I've seen this level of entitlement within the Vtuber space When Twitch was showcasing Vtubers during "Vtuber week" many months back I saw post after post of Vtubers, both big & small" whining that it's not "FAIR" that they were EXCLUDED. I wasn't in any of the promos, & yet I didn't make a big deal about it like I was personally slighted by Twitch, cause I wasn't. I just wasn't included & that's okay. I did look for answers on how to possibly be included for next time or see what they looked for when picking who to showcase, but I didn't try to play the victim even if I would have loved to be included in a showcase. Idk if this is just cause of how Vtubing or the people it tends to attrat ibut some of you legit have main character syndrome & it's gross behavior. I've even been in so many other creative communities (cosplay, art, etc.) & not seen this horrendous level of entitlement from the people within it.

@VOvered I’ll probably see who of my friends get the game and then ask them their thoughts about it and watch some stream for gameplay. Especially for this game I’m going in assuming it’s animal crossing and then see what unique features it has.

I don’t even own a switch 2 yet because it’s $650 and I cannot justify the purchase. If this game is actually as good as critics rave that it is, I might justify a $650 console AND the $110 for the game. Damn Australian currency and games being so expensive. 🥲

@MalachiVtuber Although I would say avoid story stuff, do try to catch some gameplay if you can. Especially for video games, it’s easier to enjoy if you can tolerate its gameplay loop. I hope that they improve the games (partially from competition) so people actually have fun games to play.

@Rururinni I have a solution for you, just be horrified to talk to people in general. It turned out wonders for me (some expetions apply, you won’t make friends with this method either).

Honestly, I get discouraged to reach out because I just get b0ts who asks me if I want assets I get happy when I see a Vtuber follow me to only have that smile wiped when I see it’s just a b0t pretending to be a vtuber. I just want friends that I can hang out and collab with !!

@altzneren @3skiBoBo Sort of, the options they have stated thus far are; 1. Id 2. Face scan 3. Pray that the ai thinks you are an adult(however it figures that out). Although my worry about the ai is that idk if it can “cancel out” and prior given age verification.

I’m confused and I feel like I need education on this but if I don’t give discord my ID, all they’re restricting are age restricted content right. What else am I restricted on if I don’t give my face/ID?

@altzneren @3skiBoBo I think the major difference for people is that whether or not you spend any money on discord, they want your id anyway. For YouTube partnership, they need it for paying you.

@3skiBoBo Feel like most places are right. When I got YT partner, I had to do the same thing. Similar to Roblox for any voice options. No one really talks about how YT also asked for it and pretty sure google had breaches before
