@StumpfStrength i love the idea of testing sprinting weekly, but can you elaborate on the max testing of lifts? are these true all out go till you can’t, or is there some nuance to this. would be concerned about burn out

We have 52 “Testing Weeks” a year. We record vertical jump, broad jump, triple broad jump, 5-0-5, Fly’s and sprints every week. We test Bench, Squat & Deadlift every week. 6 rep max, 5 rep max, 4 rep max, 3 rep max, 2 rep max, or 1 rep max. No wasted weeks.

Today is a good day to reflect on mens’ mental health. In 2023 over 39,000 men in the US committed suicide. These are husbands, fathers, sons, and many are Veterans as well. As someone who attempted suicide when I was eight years old, this topic hits close to home. Check in on your people. Fellas, don’t be afraid to break the stigma around getting help.
